Creativity with a capital C.

Cohen made this contraption yesterday during his quiet time... it's a bunch of boxes taped together... a bank and I'm not sure what else... I thought it was quite the creation so I got a picture of him and Ren with it today.

That's a new one!

 Ren never ceases to surprise me with what he does... and tries... and gets himself into. This position was pretty crazy, if you ask me.

The Easter Bunny was good.

Cohen got just what he wanted from the Easter Bunny: a new Woody doll (his old one's head popped off from too many head turns) and the movie, Tangled.

Cheese.

Ren walked up to me today, smiled and said, "Cheese!" He was wanting me to take a picture of him. I quickly obliged. Who can resist that smile anyway?!

Quesadillas from heaven.

Jaimey and I made these tonight... a Bobby Flay recipe for spicy chicken, caramelized onioin, and eggplant quesadillas. We used mushrooms instead of eggplant. They were divine.

Jaimey and I made this salad tonight. It was so unique and so flavorful... breaded chicken with orange zest, pecans, and a maple syrup dressing...

Shower!

Jason's been trying to get the boys to take showers instead of baths... I think they finally have decided they like it. Ren laughed hysterically the whole time, and Cohen joined in. Too funny!

Cohen and Ren expressed themselves in a new way tonight. They loved getting their fingers all gooey and sticky. And their paintings are awesome.

Spring cleaning.

I decided we HAD to clean out the boys' toys tonight... It was quite the event. I think Ren was the only one who enjoyed the process.

Gladiator man.

Ren loves Jaimey's cat, George. And George is so sweet - he lets Ren torture him most the time without too much complaint. Tonight though... this was Ren on a whole new level of  George love. Ren saw that George was in the kitchen meowing. Ren proceeded to pick him up and carry him all the way to where Jaimey was. I couldn't believe Ren was that strong! It reminded me of a Gladiator type guy carrying a lion or something. So funny! Jaimey and I were cracking up!
