Ren played with Legos today. He pretended they were drumsticks (which basically meant he made lots of loud noises for a while... banging them all over the house telling me which items were louder when banged and softer.) I love my Renny. There's no one quite like him!

9 months today!

Baby photos.

I hung these photos up in our kitchen today. I love them. They're photos of the kids learning how to eat/feed themselves. I'm getting a wooden sign that says "Let's eat!" from an etsy shop delivered soon that I'll hang in the lower right corner. Can't wait to see it all together!

Making a wall collage.

I've been getting photos printed, buying frames, and trying to get them organized and hung up on our long entry wall in our family room. It's turning in to quite the undertaking. I'm really excited to get all of our family pictures hung up finally! We've had such great photos taken over the years. It's sad that they've not been framed and hung up yet!

We're very excited about Easter at our house. The boys had to dye eggs a few weeks early!

Avery is so funny. She likes to play with Ren so much and will basically tackle him when he's beside her. She squeels and laughs! It's so funny.

I wasn't sure how these two would do all Spring Break without much separation. But they were so great together! They loved playing on the computer together today, and they played upstairs together for quite a while. So nice to see them enjoying being brothers!

Cohen has Spring Break this week. He's been making train tracks and watching Thomas movies... I thought he was over his train stage, but he's proven me wrong!

Because Avery wakes up first, she is always downstairs awaiting her brothers in the mornings. I loved this sweet moment she and Ren had today. He absolutely loves her.

Today we were tricked in to believing that the planets were aligned just right so that we could make a broom stand up on its own if you lined it up facing north... we realized the next day that it doesn't matter what day it is or what the planets are doing... it'll stand up no matter what. Duh. It was fun believing it though! The boys thought I was magic!

that my 3 year old will eat chips and salsa or is it me? Granted, it is very mild homemade salsa, but still! His older brother won't come within a 3 foot radius of the stuff!

My favorite salad...

I love the classic Chicken Waldorff Salad with chicken, green apples, blue cheese, candied walnuts, celery, and balsamic dressing... but I made do with what I had (chicken, apples, cantaloupe, pecans, blue cheese, and butter lettuce), and it was excellent that way, too! I think butter lettuce is grown in heaven... or in mounds of butter... it is sooo good!
